The DreamStation BiPAP S/T includes all of the great features from previous Dreamstations and adds the security of a SPONTANEOUS TIMED Mode which will initiate a breath, after a set period of time, if no patient breath is detected.

2 New Types of Bi-Level Therapy

Spontaneous Mode: The BiPAP S/T with Bi-Flex tracks each breath and provides pressure relief at 3 points in the breathing cycle while transitioning from exhalation to inhalation, to ensure a comfortable, natural breathing experience.

Spontaneous Timed Mode: The system continues to increase pressure on inhalation and decrease pressure on exhalation; but additional Breathe Rate & Rise Time settings enable the machine to initiate a breath, switching from exhalation to inhalation automatically and comfortably if a natural breath is not detected within a set time frame.

The Philips Respironics DreamStation BiPAP Auto Machine features advanced data tracking, and integration with the optional humidifier to provide the user with an effective, easy-to-use system. This is an auto bi-level machine that adjusts during the night to provide two distinct pressures for inhalation and exhalation.

Auto-Adjusting Therapy
The Philips Respironics DreamStation BiPAP Auto is a bilevel machine that provides a higher pressure for inhalation, and lower pressure for exhalation. The machine will monitor on a breath-by-breath basis and remain at a lower pressure until an event is detected. When needed, the machine will automatically increase pressure and return to a lower pressure when the event has concluded.

Bi-Flex Pressure Relief and SmartRamp Technology
The Philips Respironics DreamStation BiPAP Auto has Bi-Flex pressure relief to increase therapy comfort and help mimic a natural breathing pattern. Unlike traditional ramp that increases pressure constantly over a set amount of time, SmartRamp will monitor the user and increase pressure only if an event occurs. During SmartRamp if an event requires which requires the lowest pressure of the BiPAP range, ramp will conclude. .
